Norman D. "Doc" Gulley, 87 of rural Marion, Indiana, passed away on November 27, 2022, at Ball Hospital in Muncie.

Doc was born on April 15, 1935, to Frank L. and Velma (Coats) Gulley in Connersville, Indiana. He married Deloris "Dee" Willis on December 23, 1955 at the Nazarene Church in Lynn, Indiana.  Doc was a 1954 graduate of McKinley High School in Winchester, IN. He retired from Fisher Body after 35 years of service and enjoyed spending his time restoring old cars, fishing, going to old car shows, and going to breakfast with his guy friends. He loved his German shepherd Tynlie, playing uno and euchre, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

Doc was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Velma Gulley, wife, Deloris "Dee" Gulley, sons-in-law Richard Hale and David Smith, granddaughter, Lorie Zawicki, and all of his 6 siblings.

Loving survivors include his daughters, Teresa Smith of Gas City, IN, Julie Shields of Hebron, OH, Lisa Hale of Marion, IN, and Brenda (Jerry) Planck of Marion, IN, son Gary Gulley of Marion, IN, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and brother-in-law, Denzil (Carolyn) Willis of Lakeland, FL.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. Van Buren, IN 46991, from 12pm to 2pm. A funeral service will begin at 2pm with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Van Buren Cemetery.
