Paul Mac Russell, 78, of Warren, Indiana, passed away on May 28, 2025, at his home after a 4-year battle with cancer. He was born on January 18, 1947, in Bluffton, Indiana, to P. Franklin and Irma Louise (Hunt) Russell. He married Angie Haneline on June 21, 1975, at the Methodist Church in Warren. He was a 1965 graduate of Warren High School and served in the United States Air Force for 4 years, serving in Vietnam. After his service in the Air Force, he was an Indiana state employee at the Indiana National Guard for 25 years, fire and safety protection being his favorite job at the base.

Paul had many passions and hobbies in his lifetime. He was very passionate about genealogy and his family history. He loved to work on and restore cars. His favorite project was his 69' Camaro. He loved "working" for hours in his garage. He also loved anything electronic or anything to do with stereo equipment. One of his biggest and proudest accomplishments was being the founder of the Warren Youth Council and Lighthouse Dance. Many wonderful people helped him to achieve that goal and were lifelong friends.

If you really knew Paul, you knew that his greatest pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his wife, Angie Russell, son, Andrew Franklin (wife, Jenna) Russell of Huntington, Indiana, and a granddaughter for whom he had immeasurable love and pride for, Paige Elise Russell of Huntington, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Russell and Georgina Fenning.

Paul was blessed to marry into a big family, that eventually became his own family that loved him dearly and will miss him, sisters-in-law, Cindy (Jim) Hildebrand, Deb (John) Fisher, and Jill (Rey) Leal, brother-in-law, Chris (Monica) Haneline, Jack Haneline, many many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and preceding him in death was sister-in-law, Cathy (Norm) Haneline.
