Perry "Danny" Wagoner, 76, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 1:15 AM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his son's home in Hartford City, IN. He was born on Wednesday, July 17, 1946, in Marion, IN. Danny graduated from Montpelier High School. He joined the Marine Corp in 1966. Danny worked at General Motors in Marion, IN. He was a member of the Fisher Body Sympathy Club. He retired from GM after 39 years of service. Danny was a member of the U.A.W. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his Son - Robert Daniel (Denise) Wagoner, North Port, FL, Son - Richard DeWayne (Deanna) Wagoner, Hartford City, IN, Brother - Bob Wagoner, Montpelier, IN, Sister - Susan Sills, Bluffton, IN, Sister - Nancy Frampton, Bluffton, IN, Sister - Dianne Bustos, Bluffton, IN, & Grandchildren - Megan Wagoner, North Port, FL, Daniel Wagoner, North Port FL, Holli (Pepe Short) Pedro, Chicago, IL, Penni Wall, Ellettsville, IN, Mallory (Sean Kingrey) Pedro, Yorktown, IN, McCartney Walden, Marion, IN, Jay (Amber) Pedro, Clemmons, NC, Sam (Nicole) Pedro, Browns Summit, NC, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father – Perry Henry "Pete" Wagoner, Mother – Clara (Miller) Wagoner, Companion - Martha Hartley, and Sister - Joan Williams.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier, IN. on April 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00. A service to celebrate Danny's life will follow at 5:00 PM with Tim Williams officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the US Marine Corps. Inurnment will take place in the Sarasota National Cemetery.
