Peter Michael "Mike" Magic, age 57, of Montpelier, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 9:34 p.m. while doing what he loved at Montpelier Speedway.

Born on April 11, 1969, in Denver, Colorado, Mike lived life with passion, determination, and a love for adventure. He graduated with the class of 1987 from Gibbs Senior High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the Christian faith.

Mike was a world-class fabricator whose talent and craftsmanship earned him the respect of everyone who knew him. He was the founder and owner of Full Circle Fabrication which he started in Braselton, Georgia, then continued in Montpelier. Earlier in his career, he raced four-wheelers for Factory Tri City Honda in Florida, combining his love of speed with his competitive spirit.

Whether he was offshore fishing, riding jet skis in the surf, competing in fishing tournaments, cooking for family and friends, or catering special events, Mike embraced every opportunity to have a good time. He never missed a chance to share a Jäger Bomb with whoever was willing. Mike had a soft side under his bold personality, and would do anything to help out the people around him. Mike always cherished the relationship that he had with his only son, which motivated him to being a great dad. Beyond the love he had for people was the love he had for the many animals throughout his life. Although, above all, racing was his greatest passion. The racetrack was where Mike truly felt at home, and it was there that he created countless friendships and lasting memories.

Those left to cherish Mike's memory include his mother, Barbara Elizabeth (Blank) Magic of Leesburg, Florida; his son, Michael G. Magic of Hartford City, Indiana; his beloved companion, Lisa O'Donnell of Phoenix, Arizona; and his niece, Brianna Magic of Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mijenko Magic, and his sister, Kristina Magic.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mike's life on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Montpelier Civic Center, 339 S. Main Street, Montpelier, Indiana 47359.
