Rebecca C. Schwartz, 7-month-old daughter of Cletus & Mary Ann (Girod) Schwartz, of Berne, IN, passed away at 6:02 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Riley Hospital For Children in Indianapolis, IN.  She was born on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Fort Wayne, IN. Rebecca was of the Old Order Amish Church.

Survivors include her Father - Cletus Schwartz, Berne, IN, Mother - Mary Ann (Girod) Schwartz, Berne, IN, Siblings- Irene (special friend, Noah Wickey), James, Mattie, Wilma, Marie, Atlee, Cletus, and Menno Schwartz, Maternal Grandparents - Jerry & Mattie Girod, Berne, IN, and Paternal Grandmother - Katie C. Schwartz, Berne, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather - Menno G. Schwartz.

Visitation will be held at the Cletus Schwartz Home located at 7144 S. 100 E. Berne on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025.

A Funeral service will be at the Cletus Schwartz Home at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 with Bishop Sam N. Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in the Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery in Geneva.

Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
