Robert "Bob" C. England, 76, of Huntington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Bob was born on January 14, 1948, in Dean, a small neighborhood in Huntsville, Tennessee, to John and Nina (Anderson) England. He graduated from Highland High School in Anderson, Indiana in 1966. Bob served our country in the US Army from 1968-1970 and during that time received the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, 2 overseas bars, M14 Marksman, and a Purple Heart. He married Lora Ann Hart June 17, 1988, in Anderson, Indiana. Bob worked at General Motors in Marion, Indiana, and retired in 2008. Bob was a member of the GM Auto Workers Guild. He loved his pets and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and bowling.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nina England.

Loving survivors include his wife of 36 years, Lora Ann England of Huntington, IN, son, Mark (Ann) England and their children Pressley and Ashley England, daughter, Monica (Bobby) Faulds and their children Jacob (Catherine) Walker, Destiny Walker and Taylor Faulds, daughter, Heather (Jeff) Johnson, and their children Alyssa Huffman and Tyler Huffman, daughter, Veronica (Marc) Bowman, and their children, Anthony Detamore, Conner Detamore, and Heather Detamore, daughter Kara (John Kehle) Scott, and their children Blake Smith, Tyler Kehle, Maverick Kehle, Adrian Kehle and Ryker Kehle, daughter, Madison Hart, brother William (Anna) England, of Tennessee, and nephews Greg and Tony England, and special friends Jerry Mabbitt of Alexandria, IN and Dave Beach of Anderson, IN.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Healing Waters Ministry in Mt. Etna, located at 5811 W 606 S, Huntington, IN 46750, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm. A funeral service will begin at 6pm with Pastor Wayne Couch officiating. Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 1pm where military honors will be performed by the Daleville American Legion Honor Guard.
