Robert E. Stewart II, age 80, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 11:25 AM on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at The Waters of Hartford City in Hartford City, IN. He was born on Saturday, January 13, 1945, in Blackford County, IN. He married Sandra (Henderson) Stewart on Saturday, August 7, 1971, at the First Baptist Church, Montpelier, IN. Robert was a Hartford City High School graduate and took some college courses. He was a draftsman for Overhead Door in Hartford City and for Sovereign in Muncie. Robert enjoyed taking photos, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife – Sandra (Henderson) Stewart, Hartford City, IN, and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father – Robert E. Stewart I; mother – Martha Jane (Faulkner) Stewart; and brother – Jerry Stewart.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, IN, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A service to celebrate his life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with Minister Steve Lakie officiating; viewing will be held one hour before the service starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in the Gardens of Memory, Muncie, IN.
