Samuel Martin, 67, of rural Wells County, IN, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home. Samuel was born in 1955, in Charleston, WV. He was married to his loving wife Shelley. Samuel served his country in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1977. Later he worked as an engineer before he retired. Samuel was an Atlanta Braves fan. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife Shelley, his 3 daughters, his sister, Lori Dickerson, Cowan, IN, sister, Kelly Martin, Muncie, IN, sister, Vickie Rouse, Muncie, IN, brother, Joe Martin, Myrtle Beach, SC, brother, Jim Martin, Celina, OH, and his 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Martin, Jr. and his mother, Hazel (Dickerson) Martin.

A service to celebrate his life will be at the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN on Friday, October 28, 2022, with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating.
