Savilla K. (Hilty) Shetler, 86, of rural Monroe, passed away at 2:30 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the home of her son. Savilla was born on August 22, 1937, in Geneva, IN, to John and Katie (Coblentz) Hilty. On May 28, 1959, she married Andrew J. Shetler, who proceeded her in death on April 24, 2014. Savilla was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by 14 children; Susan (Marc) Wickey of Gravel Switch, KY, Aden (Ruby) Shetler of Tustin, MI, Mahlon (Martha) Shetler of Geneva, John (Christine) Shetler of Berne, Kathy (John) Schwartz of Decatur, Abe (Margueritte) Shetler of Monroe, Rosalyn (Dave) Schwartz of Monroe, Melinda (Ervin) Schwartz of Goshen, Joe (Lisa) Shetler of Monroe, Neil (Irene) Shetler of Monroe, Urie (Susan) Shetler of Monroe, Naomi (Aden) Troyer of Berne, Barbara (Daniel) Wickey of Burr Oak, MI, Sara (Mark) Troyer of Bluffton, one daughter-in-law, Lena (Wickey) Shetler of Homer, MI.

Also surviving are two brothers Elmer K. Hilty and John K. Hilty of Geneva, IN, two sisters, Kathryn Schwartz of Etna Green, IN, and Susie Schwartz of OH, 131 grandchildren and 165 great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Andrew K. Shetler on September 3, 2023. Brothers; Jake, Joseph, Christ and Henry Hilty. Sisters; Anna, Rebecca, Mary, Sylvia, Ada, and Maggie, and 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Urie Shetler Residence 1875 W 50 S Monroe on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

A funeral service will be at The Shetler Residence 1875 W 50 S Monroe at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 1, 2024, with Bishop Chris Graber officiating.  Interment will follow in the Winchester Amish Cemetery
