Sondra D. (Lee) Fisher, 84, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 11:38 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Heritage Pointe in Warren, IN. She was born on Thursday, November 6, 1941, in Jackson Twp. Wells County, IN. She married Rex Fisher Jr. on Saturday, February 20, 1960. Sondra was a 1959 graduate of Jackson Township High School. She worked for Megna Tech. She was a former member of the Van Buren American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed watching IU and the Colts. Above all Sondra enjoyed spending time with her family.

Loving survivors include her children, Rex Fisher, III, of Marion, IN, Nickolas Fisher, of Huntington, IN, and Anthony (Robbie) Fisher, of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Carli (Jamie) Moore, Cassi (Douglas) Burnam, Mallory (Cory) Duncan, Carrie (Wesley) Holland, Alissa Fisher, Alexander (Claudia) Fisher, Haley (Sean) Awaldt) Fisher, Devin (Molly Brown) Guerrero, great grandchildren, Waylon Moore, Walker Moore, Wilder Moore, Thatcher Barnum, Nora Duncan, Nickolas Duncan, June Holland, Cade Holland, Charlotte Bowles, Jack Fisher, Penelope Awaldt, and Willow Awaldt, sisters, Kate Gilbert, Warren, IN, and Shirley Buckland, Bluffton, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Fisher, Jr., her parents, Perry A. and Nora Z. (Miller) Booher, grandson, Nickolas Fisher Jr., siblings, Evelyn Schweikhardt, Charles Lee, Lawson Lee, Perry Lee, Oscar Lee, and Belva Lee.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. Van Buren, IN. 46991 on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, IN.
