Stanley R. Kirk Jr., 73, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 12:30 PM on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Albany Health Care in Albany, IN. He was born on Sunday, December 25, 1949, in Mitchell, IN. Stanley was a 1967 graduate of Muncie Central High School. He attended Ivy Tech in Muncie. He was in maintenance and was a parts delivery truck driver. Stanley was an avid bowler, and he enjoyed his family.

Stanley will be missed by his companion - Bonnie Lake Aquino, Montpelier, IN, son - Shawn (Chelsea) Aquino, Muncie, IN, daughter - Angela Thompson, Muncie, IN, son - Kristopher R. Kirk, New Castle, IN, daughter - Brittani N Kirk, Montpelier, IN, daughter - Chelsea D Bailey, Montpelier, IN, step-son - Anthony (BJ) Aquino, San Tan Valley, AZ, step-son - Corey (Tiffany) Aquino, Royerton, IN

He was preceded in death by his father - Stanley Robert Kirk, Sr., mother - Bertha Kirk, step-mother - Zelpha Kirk, and son - Joshua L. Kirk

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St. Montpelier, IN., on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

A service to celebrate his life will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023, with the pastor Rory Bond officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dunkirk.
