Stanton G. "Cork" Widmeyer, 77 of Warren, Indiana, passed away at his home on September 27, 2022.

Stanton was born on August 4, 1945 to Everett Widmeyer and Beatrice (Stanton) Parkhurst in Wabash, Indiana. He married Tamara (Musall) Widmeyer on June 15, 1968 in Warren, Indiana. Stanton worked for GM in Marion until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, shooting guns and practicing shooting. He loved to fish and spend time with his family, friends, and his dogs. He had a servant's heart and loved to help others.

Stanton was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Widmeyer and Beatrice Parkhurst, wife, Tamara Widmeyer in 2013, brother, Everett Allen Widmeyer, sister, Beverly Castillo, sister, Carol "Toby" Widmeyer, one grandson and one great-grandson.

Loving survivors include his daughter, Regina Thornsbury of Huntington, IN, step sons Todd (Ida) Berry and Scott (Wanda) Berry, both of Warren, IN, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother, Dan Widmeyer of Marion, IN, and brother, George Parkhurst of Bloomfield, MI.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at Cork's home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Indiana.
