Thomas E. Hodges, 73, of Converse passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at Marion General Hospital.

He was born on September 17, 1949 in Decatur, Illinois to Edward and Effie (Rueff) Hodges. On December 23, 1993, he married Pamela (Jones) Hodges.

Thomas is survived by four children, Jackie Hodges of Converse, Brian Hodges of Converse, Dana (Sheila) Rutter of Goshen, and Rachel (Matt) Durbin of Marion: 14 grandchildren, Wade Wilkerson, Gary (Heather) Hodges, Alexia Hodges, Mitchell (Taya) Hodges, O'Brian Myer, Mathew Luger, Taylor Rutter, Brianna Kelly, Savannah Rutter, Brody Durbin, Jayce Durbin, Jared Yarger, Zachary Yarger, Shaina Yarger, and one sister, Wilma Moore, along with several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, John Hodges and Donnie Hodges.

Thomas enjoyed fishing, automobile restoration, listening to music, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

He graduated from Frankfort High School. He retired from Chrysler after 35 years. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. National Guard.

Services will be held on April 1, 2023. The viewing will be at 11am and the funeral service will be held at 12pm. It will be held at Gardens of Memory, located at 11201 S Marion Rd. 35, Marion, IN, 46952. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Howard County Veteran's Grounds at 3pm.
