Thomas A. Michael, 78, of rural Bryant, IN, passed away at 12:08 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Albany Health Care in Albany, IN.  He was born on Thursday, April 6, 1944, in Blackford Co., IN.  He married Connie B. Paxson on Saturday, September 14, 1963 at the Gilead Church, Balbec. Tom was a 1962 graduate of Chester Center High School. He was a member of the Christian Worship Center, Fiat. Tom was a HVAC licensed technician. He had worked at Reason's Service Station, Franklin Electric, Bluffton, IN, RCA, Marion, IN, Sears, Muncie, IN, Dunwiddie's, Bluffton, IN, and IVY Tech, Muncie, IN. He was an avid racoon hunter, enjoyed music, and playing guitar in the Colt Band.

Tom will be sadly missed by his sons - Tommy A. Michael, College Grove, TN, Brian F. Michael, Geneva, IN, Greg D. (Marcia) Michael, Pennville, IN, Gary L. (Suranna) Michael, Bluffton, IN, Steven C. Michael, Portland, IN, nephew/cousin- Chub Michael, Pennville, IN, sister - Judy (Bill) Smith, Montpelier, IN, sister-in-law - Sharon Michael, Bluffton, IN, 18 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father - Philip Fay Michael, mother - G. Irene (Knox) Lines, step father - Virgil Lines, wife - Connie B. (Paxson) Michael, sister - Sue Hollar, and brother - Billy Michael.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A service to celebrate his life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2022 with Shawn Gearheart officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pennville I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Pennville.
