Thurman Ray Curtis, 67, of Keystone, IN, passed away at 5:41 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at his residence in Keystone, IN.  He was born on Friday, May 18, 1956, in Ashland, KY.  Thurman had worked as a foreman under several construction companies for 40 years. He loved to wheel & deal and restore vehicles. Thurman enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, loved his dog Biscuit, and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his kids and grandkids.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters - Shala Young, Waddy, KY, Monika Curtis, Bluffton, IN, Sadi Curtis, Geneva, IN, Kati Curtis, Montpelier, IN, companion - Suzy Smitley, Berne, IN, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother - Bobby Curtis, Berne, IN, and sister - Debbie Gibson, Decatur, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father - Marvin R. Curtis, mother - Edith L. (Hicks) Curtis, daughter - Allison Curtis, grandson- Zeik Curtis, and brothers - Joe Michael Curtis, Hobart Curtis, Hubert Curtis & Kenny Curtis.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at South Adams Senior Center located at 825 Hendricks St. Berne, IN. on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM to celebrate Thurman's life.
