Timothy D. Lewis, 60, of rural Montpelier, IN, passed away at 7:11 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at his home in Montpelier, IN.  He was born on Sunday, April 14, 1963, in Hartford City, IN.  He married Glenna (Snyder) Lewis on Friday, December 17, 2010 in Anchorage, Alaska; she preceded him in death on November 5, 2016.  He spent his early years in Blackford Co. Timothy was a 1981 graduate of Blackford High School where he was on the team that won the state football championship in 1979. He enjoyed watching sporting events. Timothy served his country in the U.S. Air Force serving in Italy, Saudi Arabia, France, and Germany and retired as a Master Sergeant.

He will be sadly missed by his Sons - Raymond Bryce Lewis, San Antonio, TX, Andrew M. (Shelby) Lewis, Palmer, AK, Anthony James Lewis, San Antonio, TX, Kevin John Evan Lewis, San Antonio, TX, Jacob Tyler Lewis, San Antonio, TX, Grandchildren - Natalie Sophia Lewis, Palmer, AK, Steven Timothy Lewis, Palmer, AK, Abbigail Alizabeth Yvonne Lewis, Palmer, AK, Sister - Lisa (Rea) Garrett, Alexandria, IN, Nieces - Melissa Philbert, Julia Garrett, and Nephew - Josh Michael.

He was preceded in death by his Wife - Glenna (Snyder) Lewis, Father - John Frederick Lewis, Mother - Julia Marie (Weaver) Lewis, Stepson - Justin M. Ervin, Stepdaughter - Carrie L.  Ervin, Brothers - Steve Lewis, Jamie Lewis, Niece - Laura Ray, and Nephew - Brant Harter.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A service to celebrate his life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 with Pastor Chris Neel officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
