Troy Dale Carter, 52, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 8:42 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024 at his home in Montpelier, IN.  He was born on Wednesday, March 24, 1971, in Muncie, IN. Troy attended Muncie Central High School, Muncie, IN. and Jefferson High School in Monroe, MI. Troy spent his early years in Monroe, MI, before moving to Muncie, IN. He worked at BRC and NRP both in Montpelier, and for Weaver Popcorn in Van Buren. He enjoyed playing and repairing guitars. Troy was an animal lover and especially loved his cat, Sylvester.

Troy will be sadly missed by his Daughter - Kristien Carter, Pennville, IN, Son - Michael Carter, Monroe, MI, Daughter - Tritny Kincaid, Newport, MI, Daughter - Cassandra Keister, Monroe, MI, Girlfriend - Kathleen Foy, Montpelier, IN, Brother - Kevin L. Osborn, Carleton, MI, Brother - Terry Osborn, Columbia City, IN, Sister - Robin Smith, Gas City, IN, and 7 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents- Harold Victor & Jacqueline (Hersley) Osborn.

Friends and family are encouraged to come share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A service to honor his life will follow at 2:00 PM.
