Valerie Sue Baker, (nee Wall) was called to her heavenly home on Friday, February 28, 2025. Valerie was a resident of Upland, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Doug Baker, her father, Val Wall, and her stepfather - Charles Lengyel. Valerie is survived by her son, Logan (Airieana) Baker, her cherished granddaughter - Octavia Rose, her mother - Donna Lengyel, and her brother - Eric (Mary) Wall. She also leaves behind her nephew - Landon Wall, stepbrother - Sean Lengyel, step-sister - Renee Carcella, and her dearest friends Jennifer, Tristan, Jami, & Anna who were like sisters to her, along with all their children whom Valerie considered her nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Monongahela, PA. Valerie married the love of her life, Doug, in her hometown. Known for her radiant happiness, her smile could light up the room. Valerie cherished her family and friends deeply. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, enjoyed her favorite TV shows and loved sunflowers. Her warmth, joy, and unwavering love for those around her will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
