Vicki L. Turnock, 78 of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Marion Hospital.

Vicki was born on June 19, 1946, in Winslow, Indiana to Edward and Edith (Hayes) Woolsey. She graduated from Van Buren High School and continued her education at Indiana Business College. Later in life, she received her certificate in Medical Transcription. She worked for Marion Municipal Utilities for several years before she retired from there and then worked for Marion General Hospital as a medical transcriptionist before retiring from there. Vicki's biggest hobby was smoking, but she also enjoyed puzzles, crafts, reading, watching the birds, dancing, and traveling to Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas. Vicki adored her family and shared so many laughs and memories over the years. An ornery and wonderful prankster, she convinced her grandchildren for a lengthy time that their grandfather was Elvis Presley. Vicki's faith and dignity was strong. She will be deeply and sorely missed.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Edith Woolsey, grandson, Nicholas Hertlein, nephew, Richard A. Woolsey, nephew Edward Woolsey, nephew Michael Woolsey, sister, Peggy Richardson, and brother, David Woolsey.

Loving survivors include her daughters, Tammy (John) Brookshire of Marion, IN, and Ginger (Raymond Wilkins) Turnock of Anderson, IN, grandchildren, Whitney Turnock-Carter, Joshua Turnock, Matthew Hertlein, and Andrea Gorham, great grandchildren, Landon Turnock, Juliana "Chloe" Turnock, Lexie Carter, Carter Turnock, Emma Gorham, Ava Gorham, Olivia Gorham, and Harper Gorham, and brother, Richard C. Woolsey of Marion, IN, and 4 grandcats, Myrt, Willow, Gracie, and Oreo.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home located at 201 W. Main St. Van Buren, IN 46991, from 3pm to 4:30pm. A funeral service will begin at 4:30pm. Burial will follow at the Van Buren Cemetery.
