Violet Mae McMillan, 91 of Warren, Indiana, passed away on October 2, 2022, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Violet was born Tuesday, April 14, 1931, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Ollie Branson Green and the late Norma Justa (Middlesworth) Green. She graduated from Indiana Academy in 1950, and was a homemaker. She married John James McMillan on August 20, 2000, in Marion, IN. Violet and John were members of the Fairmount Baptist Church.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, John Harris, second husband, Walter Ode Marcum, sons, Shayne Marcum and Jeffrey Branson Harris, sister, Charlotte Gill, and brothers, Bob Lindenberger, Dick Lindenberger, Bill Green and Curtis Green.

Loving survivors include her husband, John McMillan of Warren, IN, son, Nicholas Merle Harris of Arcadia, IN, and 6 grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Farrville Cemetery located in Marion, Indiana.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home in Van Buren, Indiana.
