Charleen M.
Ruble
Sep 1, 1951 — Jul 13, 2026
Charleen M. (Crowl) Ruble, 74, of Warren, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Heritage Pointe of Warren.
Charleen was born September 1, 1951, at Huntington Hospital, to the late Harry Crowl and Agnes (Creager) Crowl. She graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1969.
Charleen met the love of her life, Doyle Ruble. It was love at first sight, and the couple married on June 10, 1973. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. They welcomed two children and lived in Montpelier before moving to Florida in 1985. While in Florida, Charleen worked as a supervisor for the Central Florida Toll Road serving Orange and Seminole Counties.
After their children were grown, Charleen joined Doyle as a team driver for Old Dominion Freight Line, traveling coast to coast hauling double trailers. When her driving days came to an end, she and Doyle enjoyed real estate investing in the growing community of Palm Coast, Florida. In 2012, they returned to Indiana and made their home in Warren to be closer to family and enjoy small-town life.
Charleen enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and spending time with those she loved most. Her greatest joy was her family, especially visits and phone calls from her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her loving heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to her family. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Gracie, and was preceded in death by her cherished dog, Christy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Agnes Crowl; her brother Charles Crowl; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include her loving husband, Doyle Ruble of Warren; daughter, Brooke Worley; son, Roger (Jen) Ruble; grandchildren, Derek, Anthony, Joseph, and Sarah.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Gerald Moreland officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
